Change the size of a video Placeholder

A Content Administrator or Content Editor can change the size of a Placeholder. The size is changed on the Manage Placeholder page. The resolution (size) of a video Placeholder must match the resolution (size) of the Play Lists it displays.

  1. Open the Manage Placeholder page for the Placeholder you want to edit.
  2. In the Resolution Width field, type a value for the width, in pixels,  for the Placeholder. The default is 640 pixels.
  3. In the Resolution Height field, type a value for the height, in pixels,  for the Placeholder. The default is 480 pixels.
  4. Click Save or Save & Close.

NOTES:

  • The resolution of the Play Lists associated with the Placeholder must be the same in order for the Play List content to show correctly. If you change the size resolution of a Placeholder, you may also need to adjust the resolution of each Play List it contains to ensure content displays correctly and is not cut-off or distorted.
  • If the resolution of a Play List assigned to a Placeholder does not match that of the Placeholder, a warning message will be displayed in red immediately below the Selected Play Lists table indicating that one or more Play Lists do not have the same resolution as the Placeholder.
  • The size of a ticker Placeholder cannot be changed.
