You can put free iptv from http://www.chooseandwatch.com into a bulletin, make the bulletin the same size as the play list/placeholder you are going to be putting it into, and you will have iptv taking up the entire placeholder.
You can only do this for iptv channels from http://www.chooseandwatch.com that are being broadcast via Windows Media Player. Some of the quality is not great, and channels are sometimes unavailable, but it is free :).
It is recommended to do this Bulletin HTML Code entry in Internet Explorer, as it does not consistently function properly when using Firefox. You can create the bulletin with Firefox and regardless of how it shows while you are editing it; it will function correctly on your appliance.
1. Copy this code into notepad EXACTLY as it appears below:
<embed name="MediaPlayer" pluginspage="http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/Downloads/Contents/Products/MediaPlayer/" src="http://www.chooseandwatch.com/play.php?channelId=73" type="application/x-mplayer2" showcontrols="0" showaudiocontrols="0" showpositioncontrols="0" showtracker="0" showstatusbar="0" showdisplay="0" defaultframe="Slide" autostart="1" enablecontextmenu="false" height="100%" width="100%">
2. Go to the page http://www.chooseandwatch.com and look at all available channels that are being broadcast using Windows Media Player. You can identify channels being broadcast with Windows Media Player by the little image beside the Channel name.
3. Click on the channel that is being broadcast with Windows Media Player that you would like to view. Once you have the channel open, you will see a text box below the TV Channel that says Direct Link, and inside that Direct Link is a channel ID.
4. Log into the Rise Display Network, and create a new Bulletin. Make it the height and width of the placeholder that you would like to place it into. Once you have the bulletin in Edit mode, change from Design mode to HTML mode, by clicking on the HTML Tags at the bottom of the bulletin window. Once in HTML Mode, paste the code from Step 1 into the window EXACTLY as it appears. Change the channel from the channelID= section to the channel in the direct link.
5.Once you have done that, approve the bulletin, and you can begin using it in your presentation. It will fill the entire space of whatever placeholder you put this bulletin into, as long as the bulletin is the exact size of the placeholder.
I hope this helps, feel free to post comments if you have any questions.
Thanks!
