As a Network Operator, you have your own Login URL that you can forward your clients to, so when they log in, they see your logo, tagline, etc. Your Login URL can be found on your Portal Settings page, which is on the company tab. For more information on configuring these settings, click here.
The Login URL is pretty long, and starts with http://www.risedisplaynetwork.com. You may want the option to change this login URL to a different DNS name in order to promote your own company branding.
This is a fairly simple thing to do. First you would have to purchase the domain name that you are interested in if you have not done so already. For example, if you wanted http://www.myveryowndisplaynetwork.com you would have to search to see if it is available.
If it is available, you can go with whatever provider you like, http://www.godaddy.com, http://www.networksolutions.com, whoever you choose, but you should speak to their Technical Support team first to ensure that you have the ability to do a webhop, or redirect. Explain that you have an existing URL, and would like to use this DNS name (www.myveryowndisplaynetwork.com) to forward to that URL. Most domain hosts can do this, so it should not be a problem.
Once you have purchased your domain name, this setting would likely be in the DNS Settings or equivalent portion of your Account page. What you need to set is a redirect, or webhop as it is commonly referred to, and set it up so that anyone going to http://www.myveryowndisplaynetwork.com, is forwarded automatically to your Login URL from your Portal Settings page.
You can also set up other features such as cloaking, which means the http://www.myveryowndisplaynetwork.com will always stay in the address bar, instead of changing to the Login URL. This will however change when the user logs into the system.
You can also set up your own tab title, so that if a user has multiple tabs open in their web browser, they will see whatever you specify in the tab for your page.
We hope this helps, let us know below what you think!
