Open the Manage Video Play List page

The Manage Video Play List page contains the details for a specific video Play List. It is also the page on which you edit the content for an existing Video Play List or create a new Video Play List.

  1. On the Content tab, click Play Lists.
  2. Find the Video Play List you want.
  3. Click on the name of the Play List in the Name column. The Manage Video Play List page displays.

The following information is available on the Manage Video Play List page for a specific Play List:

  • Name: This is the Play List name. It is used to search for a particular Play List in the Find Play List field. To change it, see Change the name of a Play List.
  • Description: This is a word or phrase used to further identify the Play List. To change it, see Change the description for a Play List.
  • Resolution: These fields provide the resolution – the width and height – of the display appliance for which the Play List has been created. Type over the existing values to change or revise it.
  • Review Status: This indicates the Review Status of the Play List. See the Overview of Review Status Messages chart.
  • Add Item to Play List: This section lists all the content items contained in the Play List, along with the name, review status, type (e.g., URL, Bulletin, video, Flash, image), resolution (width x height), display duration (format is hh:mm:ss), and the display schedule. For more information about editing Play List Items, see Change the order of Play List Items, Change the schedule for a Play List Item and Remove items from a Play List.  To the left of the Play List Item table, you will find links that allow you to add Play List Items – options include Bulletin, Media File, Web Page, and Live Data – as well as a summary of the total number of items in the Play List.   • Distribution: This section specifies the display or number of displays to which the Play List has been assigned. If all displays have been selected for the Play List it will display “ALL DISPLAYS”, if only one display has been selected it will display the name of the display selected, e.g., “Lobby Display”, if two or more displays have been selected it will display the number of displays selected “3 Displays”.  For more information about selecting displays for a Play List, click here.
