Select displays for a Play List

All items contained in a particular Play List are displayed on the same display or group of displays. By default, all new Play Lists are set up to be shown on all displays on your network, however, you can select the specific displays on which to show them. To select displays in the Display Network application, you actually select the Appliance associated with the display.

The procedure for selecting displays for Play List – video or ticker – is the same.

About the Distribution section:

When collapsed, the Distribution section displays a message indicating the number of displays currently selected for the Play List, if any:

  • If no displays are selected, the message displayed is “NO DISPLAYS”
  • If all displays on your network are selected, the message displayed is “ALL DISPLAYS”
  • If a specific number of displays are selected, the message displayed is “X DISPLAYS” (e.g., 2 DISPLAYS, 4 DISPLAYS, etc.)

The Distribution section can be expanded by clicking More. When expanded, and when “Show only on SELECTED Displays” is selected, a list of all available displays is provided.

  • Search for it: If you know the name of the display you want to find, type it in the Find Display box, then click Search. RThe software starts searching as soon as you enter the first character. For example, if you “b”, then all displays beginning with the letter “b” are displayed. The search results are displayed below the Find Display box.
