The details for a specific Alert can be accessed from the Alerts page. The details for an Alert cannot be edited. To view the history for an expired Alert, see View Alert History.
- On the Displays tab, click Alerts.
- Find the Alert you want to open.
- Once located, click on the name of the Alert you want in the Alert Message column. The View Alert Details page for that Alert will display. The following details are provided for each Alert:
Alert Message: This is the Alert notification message text. Alert Duration: This displays the duration for which the Alert will be displayed. Alert Status: This displays the current status of the Alert. Status types include: Active (Not Confirmed): The Alert has not reached all of the Appliances it was sent to. It may be displaying on some of the intended Appliances. Active: The Alert has reached all of the Appliances to which it was sent and it is currently being displayed. Cancelled (Not Confirmed): A user has cancelled the Alert but the cancellation has not reached all of the Appliances the original Alert was sent to. Cancelled: A user has cancelled the Alert and it is no longer being displayed on any Appliance. Completed (Not Confirmed): It cannot be confirmed that the Alert has reached all of the Appliances to which it was sent or that the Alert was displayed for the specified Alert duration. Completed: The Alert has reached all of the Appliances to which it was sent and the Alert was displayed for the specified Alert duration. Overridden: The Alert was overridden by a new Alert before it was completed. Sent By: This displays the user name of the Alert Administrator who sent the Alert and the date and time the Alert was sent. List of Appliances: This lists the video Appliances to which the Alert was sent and the current status of the Alert on each Appliance.
